Design Club was established to promote and facilitate student and staff activities in the discipline of Design at the University of Newcastle such as exhibitions, competitions and other social events. It also provides an organisational structure through which the Visual Communication Design Honours Program can conduct and simulate design studio activities. Its $5 for the year and this gets you fre
e entry to members events (Excludes Design Ball) and access to the Design Club library. You can sign up at any of our events or meetings. We’re always concocting new ideas (this is what designers do) for “Licenced Venue Perambulations” and workshops through out the year. If you have any ideas, come and voice them at a meeting, talk to one of your student representatives, shoot us an email or like us on facebook. We love to collaborate too. Get talking with other members, you might find that photographer or illustrator you’ve needed for personal project. We are communicators, get communicating.
