Thank you to our College Club Committee for putting together a wonderful Sunday soirée that doubled as a fun afternoon and a successful fundraiser!

Together the students raised $763 on the day through their haircuts, BBQ, bake sale, henna tattoos and raffle. This total goes towards their overall fundraising for Sky Light Mental Health, which has been ticking along nicely with individual donations as well!

St Ann's College is pleased to announce our Leadership Positions for 2027, starting with Senior Academic Tutor.

For next year, the College has selected TRENT DUBRICH to lead our Academic Mentors and Tutors in their support of our students. Trent will work closely with our Director of Learning, Dr Tamara Agnew, to coordinate and deliver the Academic Program, and cultivate an environment where academic achievement is fostered, supported and promoted.

Trent will be entering his third year at St Ann's and he has an incredible track record of service to the College already - he has contributed two years to our College Club Committee, served as a Warden, and helped others through his role as an Academic Mentor in 2026. Trent is also the recipient of multiple scholarships.

Please join us in congratulating Trent for his appointment to this prestigious role!

And finally - the last of our Club introductions...

Oliver and Nabeel work together to run the VIDEO GAME CLUB and the COMMY CLUB! 🎮🏓🎱✨

The Video Game Club brings together students on a College Minecraft server, and provides other opportunities for group game play. Our student Hazel was the winner of a Minecraft competition in Semester 1.

Our Commy Club is named after the infamous St Ann's Common Room! It celebrates all of the group activities that are possible in our honoured gathering space, such as table tennis, pool, and Wii Sport, Just Dance and Mario Kart competitions.

We have already introduced Oliver a few times, but this is our first chance to talk about Nabeel. Nabeel has been an excellent leader of the Video Game Club this year and is continuously looking for games that can increase student engagement and community. He was instrumental in organising and running our Just Dance Competition, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.

St Ann’s marked the occasion of Founder’s Day in its 79th year on Wednesday, 16 September, celebrating the College’s rich history and the vision of those who helped bring it to life.

As always, the day provided an opportunity to reflect on the remarkable individuals whose vision and determination transformed the dream of a residential college for women into a reality.

This cherished Founders Day tradition is brought to life each year by the incredible efforts of our Principal, staff and student artists, musicians, waitstaff and leaders, who generously give their time and talents to make the celebration uniquely St Ann’s.

We’re so excited to invite collegians, students and staff to join us for an afternoon of fun, community and fundraising at St Ann’s College Charity Day! 🫶

Our College Club team has been working hard behind the scenes, putting countless hours, energy and our hearts and souls into creating an afternoon that brings our community together for a cause that means so much. 💙
