🩹 First Aid & CPR Training at CIHE Australia ❤️

Last Friday, our CIHE staff came together for a First Aid and CPR training session!

From learning essential first aid knowledge to hands-on CPR practice, the session equipped our team with practical skills to respond confidently in emergency situations.

By ensuring our staff have essential first aid skills, we’re continuing to build a safer and more supportive environment for our students and staff. 💙

Yesterday, our Science and Sustainability class connected with our Western Australia cohort through a hybrid learning experience!

Using STEM thinking, students were challenged to design and build a bridge symbolising how we can bring our Perth students into the classroom at our Hurstville campus. Each team was provided with 100 paddle pop sticks, one roll of tape, and a matchbox car representing the journey.

The challenge? Build a bridge measuring 22cm that was strong enough to support the car travelling across it.

It was fantastic to see our students demonstrate creativity, collaboration, problem-solving and innovation throughout the activity. Learning goes beyond textbooks—it’s about building connections, both literally and figuratively. 🥰

Representing CIHE Australia and CIBT Australia at Mater Maria Catholic College and St Andrew’s College this past week was a fantastic opportunity to engage with the next generation of learners.

Across both Career Expos, our team connected with over 1,000 students, sharing educational pathways from VET to Higher Education and helping them explore study and career opportunities beyond high school.

At CIHE and CIBT, we are committed to empowering students with flexible pathways and supporting them at every stage of their educational journey.
