The Fantasy and Sci-Fi Association (FASA), is a university society based at Monash University's Clayton Campus. We are primarily a social club of like-minded that enjoys and celebrates any and all fandoms from the fantasy and science-fiction genres. We also include and appreciate comic book universes in all their forms. Throughout the year, we hold various events with themes central to the worlds
of fantasy, science-fiction and comic books. These events include: dinners, trivia nights, camps, and TV & Movie marathons. During university semesters, we hold weekly meetings on a Wednesday, between the hours of 3pm and 4pm. These weekly meetings consist of games, activities, information sessions, discussions, and debates, all centred around various themes, topics and interests from fantasy and science-fiction. Also during the university semesters, we hold bi-weekly movie nights, taking place on even weeks of the semester. The movies that we see are all fantasy, science-fiction, or comic book themed, and the exact movie is voted on and chosen by the members in the week before the screening is due to occur.
