Shoutout to Jono and Anna from our Residential College Outreach Committee for leading a Mullets for Mental Health initiative over the past month!

Raising over $1,000 for crucial mental health research at the Black Dog Institute through shaves, cuts and plenty of questionable hairstyles, there’s certainly been a lot of hair floating around!

Proud of our community’s generosity in turning a haircut into something more 🙌

Last week's Annual Seniors' Lunch brought together alumni from 1976 and beyond for an afternoon in the Cripps Room - filled with good company, lunch, and live music. It was a joy to celebrate 50+ years of Trinity connections.

Congratulations to Rob Stewart (TC 1967), winner of his very own personalised door plaque for his old College room!

🧊 TRINITY’S BIG FREEZE IS HERE ❄️

We’re taking part in this year’s Big Freeze Challenge in support of Fight MND and vital research into motor neurone disease (MND).

Every $200 raised unlocks another person to be dunked - all the way to our $2,000 target. And yes… the Deputy Warden and Warden are both in the lineup 👀

Support Fight MND and help us unlock the full dunk lineup before Thursday afternoon! Donate 👉 https://support.fightmnd.org.au/fundraisers/TrinitysBigFreezeChallenge

This National Reconciliation Week, Trinity lined up once again in the annual Buroinjin Cup and took out the grand final with a 4-0 win over Ormond College!

Buroinjin is a traditional Indigenous ball game of the Kabi Kabi people of south Queensland - think rugby, soccer and AFL rolled into one. Fast, skilful, and a lot of fun to play. Well done to everyone who took part 🖤💛❤️

Today, 26 May 2026, marks National Sorry Day. It is a time to acknowledge the enduring impact of past injustices on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and reflect on how we can each contribute to a more just and respectful future.

On this day in 1997, the landmark Bringing Them Home report was tabled in federal parliament. Nearly three decades on, it is sobering that only a small number of its recommendations have been implemented.

This day also marks the beginning of National Reconciliation Week, a time to reflect on our shared histories and consider how we can advance reconciliation in practical and lasting ways.

There is still much work to be done. Trinity College is committed to being an agent for change. We are All In – today, throughout National Reconciliation Week, and every day – in our support for continued progress.

Special guests from the Polly Farmer Foundation joined us for Formal Hall last week, bringing with them a spirit of curiosity.

Students representing communities across the top end of Western Australia and the Northern Territory embraced College tradition, donning academic gowns and joining our communal table.

The dedication of the Polly Farmer Foundation helps young people not only complete school but also opens doors to further study, apprenticeships, employment, and technical training - it's inspiring to witness the impact of their work!

A special thank you to our guests for sharing their journey with us. We hope this experience has sparked their interest in college life, and we'd love to welcome many of them back as residents in the years to come!
