Introducing our keynote speaker for tomorrow night: Nilofer Christensen!

Nilofer Christensen is a senior product and platform executive leading digital infrastructure, enterprise SaaS and AI-enabled systems across Southeast Asia. She currently serves as Head of Product for Grab for Business, where she oversees platform strategy, product investment and multi-market expansion across complex regulatory environments.

Her career spans public geospatial technology and venture-backed scale-ups, with responsibility for strategic investment and portfolio decisions in high-growth, complex environments. She holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne, where her research examined land administration systems, public-sector information asymmetries and their implications for macroeconomic policy, with particular focus on emerging water and carbon markets.

In addition to her executive leadership role, Nilofer writes and speaks on leadership and building under pressure. She is also an endurance athlete; a discipline that informs her approach to resilience, focus and long-term thinking.

A massive shoutout to our amazing speakers - Lavannya Sivaguranathan (Acciona), Eamonn Pinnuck (Agnico Eagle) and Simon Georges (Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action)- for sharing their stories, career advice, and industry insights with all of us. The Surveying Task Force, together with the Institution of Surveyors Victoria (ISV) invite you to join us as we host this years International Women’s Day Breakfast on Friday 6 March 2026, celebrating women in surveying and our industry more broadly.

Being in the right room can change everything - learn and be inspired alongside incredible women leaders.

While we celebrate women and their impact on our industry, this event is open to everyone. We warmly welcome and encourage our male colleagues to attend, be part of the conversation, and stand alongside us in supporting inclusion and progress. Creating meaningful change is something we do together. It’s a space for honest conversation, meaningful connection and momentum that carries well beyond the day itself.
