Curtin students and friends of Curtin Korean Studies! It's time for the annual Curtin Korea Day!!

Need a break before exams? Come along to Curtin Korea Day for an afternoon of free Korean food, games, crafts, prizes, and good company!

Whether you're already studying Korean, are a student from Korea, interested in Korean culture, thinking about study abroad (or maybe have already studied in Korea as an exchange student and miss it!), or just looking for something fun to do on campus, everyone's welcome. Try traditional and modern Korean games, get creative with hands-on activities (ARTS AND CRAFTS - we have a badge maker...!), dress up in a hanbok or Squid Games themed costume (it's nearly Halloween after all), and meet other students who share an interest in Korea in a really informal and chill environment.

You'll also have the chance to learn more about Korean language and Korean Studies at Curtin, study opportunities in South Korea, scholarships, internships, and other Korea-related opportunities.

FREE Korean Style catering provided for lunch (RSVP required).

When: 1:00pm-3:30pm (venue open until 5:00pm if you'd like to stay and hang out). We'll start with lunch, then games and crafts.

Who: Everyone is welcome - limited spots available due to venue size so book early!!!

Join us in supporting the future of Korean Language Education in Australia by signing the petition in our bio.

The petition is opposing the proposed removal of Korean as a Tier 1 Priority Language, a designation it has held since 2014, as recommended in the House Standing Committee on Education’s report Building Asia Capability.
