Cognition in Autism Research Researchers at Murdoch University are interested in how kids & youth think, hear, and communicate. Lab run by Dr Shu Yau

We co-design our studies with Autistic kids & teens, nonspeaking people with complex communication needs, their families & clinicians. page Rules - Any research studies advertised on this page will need to be approved by a university/research centre ethics committee. Feel free to send us comments, photos of your visit, videos or events you think might be useful to the Autism and minimally verbal/complex communication needs community - these will be reviewed for appropriateness before they are uploaded. Anything offensive (hateful language, discriminatory comments, business solicitations and spam, clickbait/virus corrupted links etc) or posts unrelated to research and knowledge translation will be removed. Comments and posts on this FB page do not represent the opinions of Murdoch University. Are you looking for movement opportunities for your autistic child aged 6-16?

Active together is running a free physical activity program designed for children with autism. Session will be organised with accredited exercise physiologists who have completed training on autism awareness and complex communication need.

What is involved:
Initial intake interview taking 30-45 minutes
up to 12 physical activity sessions for your child
sessions running for 30-45 minutes
1:1 support with and Accredited exercise physiologist
ability to travel to: Fremantle, O'Connor or Jandakot

How to participate:
Registration is open until the 2nd of October;
