Learning by doing 🏗️📐

Our Civil Construction Design students at the KCBT Adelaide Campus put their teamwork, creativity and problem-solving skills into action with this hands-on classroom challenge!

Activities like this give students the opportunity to turn theory into practice, collaborate with their classmates and develop the practical thinking needed for the civil construction industry.

Highlights from the CISWA Council for International Students of WA - 2026 Professional Development Program 🎥🌏

KCBT was proud to take part in the CISWA 2026 Professional Development Program, with a focus on “Supporting Indian Students in WA: From Cultural Understanding to Community-Driven Success.”

Our CEO, Rohini Modgill shared her own journey of arriving in Australia as an international student many years ago and reflected on how the international student experience has evolved since then. She highlighted the progress that has been made, the challenges students can still face when adapting to life and study in Australia, and her thoughts on how education providers and the wider community can continue to improve the support offered to international students.

We were also very proud to have KCBT student Jaskaran Singh join the student panel, sharing his own experience and perspective as an international student in Western Australia. 🎓

A valuable discussion bringing together both the education provider and student perspectives to help create a better international student experience.

Thank you to CISWA – Council for International Students of Western Australia for creating this important platform for conversation, collaboration and positive change.

🇨🇴 *Our hearts are with Colombia.* ❤️

We are deeply saddened by the devastating earthquake and are thinking of everyone affected, their families, friends, and communities.

Colombia holds a very special place in our community, with so many Colombian students who are part of the KCBT family. During this difficult time, we send our love, strength, and solidarity to all Colombians, both here in Australia and back home.

To our Colombian community: *you are in our thoughts, and we stand with you.* 🇨🇴❤️

*Para toda Colombia, mucha fuerza. Estamos con ustedes.* 🇨🇴

Today, our students participated in an insightful guest lecture on AI in today’s workplace and business environment. 🤖💼

The session explored AI applications in business, digital transformation, responsible AI use, future workforce trends and the skills employers increasingly seek.

Students then put their knowledge into practice by testing AI tools with effective prompts and building their own AI agents! 🚀

A big thank you to Dr Anna Griffin from Australian Data and Cyber Institute for delivering such an engaging and valuable session.
