Lord God, we thank you for your instructions that reveal your righteous character and establish the path of faithful living. Help us to be attentive to your Word, walking in wisdom, integrity, and grace each day as we seek to honour and glorify you in all that we do.

Please join us in praying for Open Week!

Almighty God, we thank you for the great blessing it is to dedicate time to studying your Word. We pray for those attending our Open Week and considering theological study. Please provide clarity and peace for them as they navigate this season of exploring options and discerning where you are calling them to serve. We pray that as visitors join our lectures, gather with us for chapel, and share in community lunch, they would experience the rich fellowship, supportive community, and Christ-centred environment at Trinity. Amen.

To anyone considering study at Trinity, Tim is confident that time there will shape and foster in them a helpful clarity and depth of theological understanding.

To current students, Tim encourages them to embrace the discomfort of having their thoughts and theology challenged. “Keep pushing through that, because if you do, you’ll land somewhere with a clear conviction. Embrace being stretched in your understanding, because it will pay off in the long run.”

It can be easy to trust God when we can see where he’s leading, but what about when we can’t?
Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us that we don’t have to understand every step to trust the one who does. When we surrender our plans, acknowledge him and lean into his wisdom, he is faithful to make our paths straight.
God, help us to trust you today. Even when the way forward isn’t clear to us.
