✨ THE PAST FEW WEEKS AT ABS COLLEGE ✨

Another busy and rewarding few weeks for our students undertaking the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability). 💙

Across the classroom and out on work placement, our students continue to build the skills, confidence and experience they need to begin meaningful careers in the care sector.

🏥 Learning Beyond the Classroom

For many of our students, work placement is where everything starts to come together.

Through 120 hours of Work-Based Training, they have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in class in real care environments — supporting individuals, working alongside experienced care teams and developing a deeper understanding of person-centred care.

Our trainers and team continue to visit students during their placements, checking on their progress, providing support and making sure they feel confident throughout their journey. 🤝

📚 Meanwhile, another group of students continues progressing through their face-to-face theory and practical training at our Balcatta campus — preparing for the next exciting stage of their course.

To our students currently on placement: keep learning, keep asking questions and make the most of every opportunity. Every shift is another step towards becoming a capable and compassionate care professional. 👏

This Week at ABS College 💙

Another busy week at ABS College, with our students learning, connecting and building confidence both inside and outside the classroom.

From work placement visits and on-site support, to practical, hands-on learning, our focus continues to be on helping students turn classroom knowledge into real-world skills.

We also believe learning should be engaging and memorable, which is why we continue to include excursions and activities that make learning more enjoyable, interactive and relevant.

A key part of the ABS College experience is also our ongoing connection with industry. We regularly invite experienced industry professionals to speak with our students, share their knowledge, discuss workplace expectations and give students a better understanding of the careers they are preparing to enter.

For us, training is not just about completing a qualification. It is about helping students become more confident, capable and prepared for the workplace.

Excited to share that we’ve joined ABS College! 🎓✨
