The CSLS is excited to host its very first CSLS Junior Witness Examination Workshop held on 22 October! Kindly sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer. Registrations for the workshop are now open!
 
In preparation for the CSLS’ inaugural Junior Witness Examination competition, the workshop provides the knowledge and outlines to trial advocacy, working with a witness, and arguing your point to a bench of judges.
 
Additionally, we will provide guidance on the CSLS Witness Examination Competition’s general structure and rules. If you’re planning on signing up to the competition, we kindly recommend attendance to this workshop! 
 
Catering will also be provided. We can’t wait to see you there!

The CSLS is excited to host the Curtin Student Law Society x Gilbert + Tobin Junior Moot Competition

📝 Registrations for the Competition are now open!

‍⚖️ Test and build your advocacy skills as you step into the shoes of barristers and solicitors, putting forward your best arguments to a bench of judges. The competition involves both an oral and written components, and allows for teams of up to three, including one non-speaking role of the instructing solicitor. There’s no reason for you not to join since there’s something for everybody!

Registrations close 5:00pm Monday 17 September

When is the competition?

🆚 Preliminary Rounds
🗓 Thursday 24 September 2026
⏰ 6:00pm - Arriving 5:45pm sharp

🏆 Grand Final Round
