💡Curtin-led resource supports better brain health👇

A new Curtin-led resource was launched during Dementia Action Week to help people understand how to protect their brain health and reduce their risk of developing dementia.

Brain Health WA ( https://brainhealthresource.org/ ) turns the latest evidence on brain health into practical advice, everyday actions and connections to support services for people of all ages and communities.

Available online and in print, the resource was developed by DEMRISK-WA, a program led by Professor Blossom Stephan (Chair in Dementia and Director of the Dementia Centre of Excellence, Curtin’s enAble Institute), in collaboration with researchers from The University of Western Australia and Edith Cowan University’s Nutrition and Health Innovation Research Institute, industry partner Dementia Australia and the Busselton Healthy Ageing Study.

A reflective research symposium for early childhood educators

Last night, the Curtin Student Guild Excellence in Teaching Awards recognised the impact of outstanding staff who have made a lasting impact on the Curtin student experience. We'll share the official photos from the event when they are posted, but here are a few sneak peeks - including our very own Dr Sally Lamping who received the Humanities Teaching Excellence award! These awards are nominated by students, so are a special recognition of the wonderful work our teaching academics do every day to support, engage, and inspire their students.
