A NOT SO TERRIBLE PARABLE

Last Friday evening, our Primary students took to the stage at the Keith Michell Theatre and delivered an absolutely fantastic performance of A Not So Terrible Parable!

Our young performers were engaging, confident, and full of energy, capturing the hearts of their audience with their incredible display of dedication, hard work and perseverance.

We are so proud of each and every student who performed. Their commitment and enthusiasm shone brightly on stage and made for a truly memorable evening.

A huge thank you to all those who worked behind the scenes to make the production such a success. Whether you were choreographing dances, teaching acts, organising rehearsals, sewing costumes, creating props, or helping in countless other ways, your time, talent, and support were invaluable.

Congratulations to everyone involved on an outstanding production! 👏🎭✨

🐑🏛️ Our Year 5 students enjoyed a wonderful day exploring the historic Bungaree Station! They learnt about the early settlement of the area, discovered the history of the local church and its important role in the community, and explored the station store filled with fascinating artefacts from the past.

Students also gained insight into wool production and sheep shearing, while enjoying a close-up look at historic carriages and early motor vehicles. It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience that brought local history to life and helped students develop a deeper appreciation of South Australia’s rich heritage. ✨📚🚜

A Symphony of Stories: Book Week 2026 📚🎶

What a wonderful celebration of books, learning, and classical music we enjoyed during this year’s Book Week, centered around the theme "A Symphony of Stories."

Each primary class explored a book from the Animal Orchestra Plays series, discovering the lives, music, and legacies of some of the world's most celebrated composers. Students then embraced the theme of their classes book by dressing up on Friday!

At our Book Week Assembly, each class shared their learning and performed a creative response inspired by their featured composer, from listening to Bach and exploring Beethoven’s resilience, to bringing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Mozart’s Turkish Rondo, Chopin’s Military Polonaise, and Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker.

Adding to the celebrations, our Year 12 students dressed as characters from their favourite childhood books and visited primary classrooms to read and share stories with younger students.

A heartfelt thank you to our students, staff, families, and visitors for making Book Week such a memorable and inspiring event. Together, we truly created a Symphony of Stories! 🎻📖✨
