Applications for the next cohort of Wattle Fellows are open for one more week! And in 2026, you can be studying at the University of Melbourne or La Trobe University.

The Fellowship offers an exceptional opportunity to develop your leadership skills through doing sustainability work.🌱 We provide workshops, community, and funding so that our tellows can contribute to a better planet.🌎

Yes there’s times where you might fell overwhelmed, but at Wattle we are prepared for exactly that and will provide the support you need!

Madina was passionate, like all fellows are…but didn’t know what direction she should focus on heading, but with coaching and guidance landed in sustainable food systems and even started !!!

Thanks on her open and honest reflection, something we are big on at Wattle!

What a massive success up in Sydney!!!

Recently the Wattle Fellowship ventured up to Sydney to host an afternoon of meaningful conversations about the issues that already keep us up at night, and still made sure that everyone left with hope and inspiration.

We were so lucky to be joined by Natalie Kyriacou OAM, Tegan Lerm, Adam Verwey, and Shalini Divya for an inspiring panel discussion that was much different to your typical panel, with breaks to answer challenging questions.

It was great to have such fantastic, well aligned, supportive partners through SIX Invest, EnergyLab, UNLESS Financial, UTS Institute for Sustainable Futures and Project Planet. It was ran seamlessly on the night thanks to Giitika Gunther, the UTS team and our awesome Wattle volunteers.

We would also love to thank Blackbird Foundation for their support as this event was a side event of their incredible Sunrise conference. .gabatan

One last thing... Apply to join the Wattle Fellowship if you’re a La Trobe University or University of Melbourne student any faculty, level of study or WAM
