Looking for food delivery riders!!!!! UNSW Student Support and UNSW Health Promotions are planning a workshop for students who are interested in or are already working as delivery riders in 2 weeks. It will include topics like paying tax as a contractor, tracking hours, working in the gig economy and touch on safety and more. We are also developing a website and aim to create a community where you can all information share and support each other. Since this is for YOU, we'd love to hear from our delivery riders and potential new riders to make sure we delivery what YOU want and need. TAX TIME ANNOUNCEMENT! It's that time of year again! Make sure you lodge your tax return for 20/21 by 31st of October!

If you've had an income that was taxed or that you need to pay tax on, you need to lodge a tax return regardless of how little or much you earned!

Remember, all income you've earnt (whether it was as an employee or sole trader/contractor) should be taxed!

ATO (Australian Taxation Office) offers great support on their website and you can get personal help by calling them as well!
