Indeed, the School provides one of the most comprehensive and largest undergraduate teaching experiences in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Paediatrics across Australia with students spending a minimum of 14 weeks in each discipline by graduation. Key strengths for Obstetrics & Gynaecology research are: Reproductive Medicine, Endosurgery, Gynaecological Oncology, Urogynaecology, Menopause and Maternal Fetal Medicine. Paediatrics Research is spread across the following streams: Cancer, Clinical Trials, Health Systems Research, Non-Communicable Diseases, Population Health and Rare Diseases & Genomics. The School also has vibrant postgraduate research programs in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Paediatrics. There are currently approximately 100 students enrolled in PhDs, MDs or Masters of Science across both Disciplines (including CCIA students).
