After running the PTE/IELTS study group for a few weeks, we have come to the conclusion that choosing a different time during the day is more feasible for everyone.

‼️ We are now doing the study groups from 12:30-2:30pm ‼️

Student Living and Tassie Tours have teamed up to offer our residents some fantastic tours around Tasmania!

Each tour would normally cost $50 per person but Student Living is subsiding the cost and the price for residents in only $20.

Limited tickets available so get in quick!

**If you are experiencing financial hardship and are really wanting to go, please reach out to the Head of Student Living to discuss further.

During this tour, you will be taken to the pinnacle of kunanyi/Mt Wellington, where you can take in
panoramic views of Hobart and beyond. As we drive back down and
through Hobart, a guided commentary highlighting the unique places,
spaces and experiences the city has to offer will be provided.
We then cross over the Tasman Bridge to explore the quaint township of
Richmond, which is immersed in Tasmanian convict history.

Michael from Alcohol and Drug Education Specialists joined us this O Week to explore the impact of alcohol on our community. We looked at the percentage of alcohol in different types of drinks, how long it takes alcohol to get out of your system and how to look after your sober mates. Residents also had a go at the fatal vision goggles, getting an idea of how different levels of alcohol can impact on your visual perception.
