📢 COMMUNITY AWARENESS: GLENORCHY RESIDENTS, ENROL TO VOTE! 🗳️
Did you know that you may be eligible to vote in Tasmania’s Local Government Elections even if you are not an Australian citizen?
The Bangladesh Students’ Association UTAS (BSA UTAS) encourages eligible community members, including international students, permanent residents and temporary residents, to check their eligibility and make their voices heard.
You may be eligible for the General Manager’s Roll if you:
✅ Are aged 18 or over
✅ Live in the Glenorchy City Council area but cannot enrol on the State Electoral Roll
✅ Own or occupy eligible property or business premises within the council area
📍 This includes Glenorchy, Moonah, West Moonah, Claremont, Austins Ferry, Berriedale, Chigwell, Montrose, Rosetta, Goodwood, Derwent Park, Lutana, Dowsing Point, Prince of Wales Bay, Granton, Otago, Collinsvale and Glenlusk.
