This event is for you!!

Starting placement can feel exciting, overwhelming, and often a little daunting. Join us for a relaxed Q&A with three final-year social work students as they share their experiences, reflections and wisdom ✨

For 3rd-year Bachelor of Social Work and 1st-year Master of Social Work students starting placement in September ☺️

There will be some food and soft drink for you to enjoy 🍕🥤
✨ Plus, everyone who attends can pick up a placement care package, which includes some practical essentials and self-care goodies to help you get through 🫶

TUSC have been collaborating with the Migrant Work Rights Hub to organise an event! 💚

Here are the details:

Date: Wednesday 27 May

Time: 5:00–6:30 pm

Location: UTAS City Accommodation, 42 Melville Street, Hobart

Session focus: Workplace rights + visa protections, including interactive discussion with unions and IARC
