A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the night such a success! It was a great opportunity to connect with industry professionals, meet new people, and learn more about the world of engineering.

Industry Night

Connect with students, graduates, academics, and engineering professionals from across Tasmania for an evening of networking, industry insights, and career development. Hosted in partnership with Engineers Australia and AusIMM, the evening will feature presentations from three guest speakers followed by informal networking, giving you the opportunity to build valuable professional connections, explore career pathways, and learn more about the engineering industry. Complimentary catering will be provided throughout the evening. Open to students from all engineering disciplines and related STEM fields, as well as industry professionals from all sectors. Whether you’re searching for internships, graduate opportunities, or simply looking to grow your network, everyone is welcome.

Come along to the Career Conversations networking event ‼️

Hear from successful alumni as they share their career stories with you, our current students, as well as enjoying the opportunity to network with other members of your UTAS community. Engineers Australia and the Student Jobs team will also be in attendance to chat to students about employment.

The event will open with a panel, featuring recent graduates talking about working in the industry. This will be followed by facilitated networking, where alumni can share unique career insights with students in small group discussions or one-on-one.
