Yesterday we celebrated Wear It Purple Day, an annual awareness day held to support, celebrate and empower LGBTQIA+ youth.

While Wear It Purple Day is an opportunity to celebrate and show our support, it also serves as an important opportunity for the John’s community to exercise our commitment to creating an inclusive, safe and welcoming environment for every resident.

That’s a wrap on this year’s ICC Soccer Competition! ⚽️

We’re so proud to share that both our Men’s and Women’s teams finished runners-up 🥈! From early morning trainings to spending the last two weekends competing out in the hot sun, we couldn’t be more proud of these results.

It was great to see the choc and gold out in full force, whipping out to every game to support their mates. A wonderful start to the semester in sport, and we’re already looking forward to the next two weekends of volleyball! 🏐

We’re delighted to officially welcome Ms Dimity Adams to St John’s as our new Wellbeing Lead and Psychologist.

Since joining St John’s in May, Dimity has already become a valued member of our community. With more than 20 years of experience supporting young people and emerging adults, Dimity brings extensive expertise in wellbeing, resilience, respectful relationships and trauma-informed care.

As a former Residential Advisor and alumna of International House, she also understands the unique experience of residential college life. At John’s, Dimity will support students, mentor our Residential Advisor team and lead the College’s wellbeing strategy.
