Join us for a fun afternoon full of creature spotting at Wellington Point! ๐Ÿš๐Ÿฆ€ We are very fortunate to be joined by the incredibly knowledgeable Associate Professor Ian Tibbetts ๐ŸŸ It is a great chance to contribute to the iNaturalist competition also! ๐Ÿ“ท

As this event is off campus, signing this waiver and registration form is ESSENTIAL!

๐Ÿ“† Date: Saturday, 14 March 2026
โฐ Time: Meet at 12:20pm for a 12:30pm start (shorewalk 12:30pm - 3pm)
๐Ÿ“ Location: Meet at the Wellington Point Recreational Reserve
๐ŸšŒ Transport: We will be taking a group from UQ (Limited Spots, nominate in the EOI), OR own transport.

๐Ÿ‘Ÿ What to bring: Enclosed shoes are essential! (old fishing boots/joggers, dive booties, or gumboots) we will be walking on the mudflats with developing oyster beds, rocks, razor clams, and other hazards. ๐Ÿ‘• Wear clothes that you donโ€™t mind getting wet or dirty. Bring a hat, water bottle, and any snack you may like. We will provide some sunscreen, but feel free to bring your own.

๐Ÿ’ฒ Cost: Free (own transport) OR $5 (MSUQ-organised transport)
