Happy Constitution Day / Te Maeva Nui Kuki Airani 🇨🇰

We wish our Kūki ’Āirani families a very Happy Constitution Day and beginning to Te Maeva Nui festivities. The 4th of August 2026, commemorates 61 years since the islands gained the right to self determination in 1965. Similar to the beautiful island of Niue, they are also a free governing state in free-association with New Zealand.

Today also marks the celebrations of Te Maeva Nui Kuki Airani where culture and community are weaved through the art of storytelling, music and dance.

Hapi Independens Dei Vanuatu 🇻🇺

Wishing our Ni-Vanuatu community a joyous Independence Day!

Today, we celebrate not just Vanuatu's sovereignty, but its unwavering leadership in demanding climate justice for the Pacific and the world. 🌊✊🏽

Vanuatu has long been a key player in the global fight against climate change. From championing conversations on economic and non-economic loss and damage, to leading the charge alongside Pacific Island Students Fighting Climate Change (PISFCC) in securing the landmark International Court of Justice Advisory Opinion on climate change 🙌

Belated INSPIA dump! 💡🌴✨

Last semester we were once again so blessed to partner with UQ Widening Participation to deliver INSPIA for our Year 11 & 12 students from Woodcrest State College, Our Lady’s College & Clairvaux MacKillop College. Creating a space where students can see themselves, celebrate who they are, and be encouraged that they have what it takes to achieve their goals 💛

To all our amazing members who showed up and served during SWOTVAC, thank you for pouring into the next generation. We appreciate you more than you know!

It is a blessing to be able to hold events like this that brings community together in celebration of all the hard work & effort all of our graduands have put into their studies 🤍
