Our students took a step back in time and learned the classic game of marbles! It was wonderful to see everyone having fun, learning new skills, and sharing laughs as they mastered their flicks and aimed for the perfect shot. Marbles teach us about patience, strategy, and teamwork—plus, it’s a fantastic way to enjoy playtime together. Well done to all our little marble champions! 🌟👏

🌱 Nature Explorer + Science = Fun Learning! 🍿
Our students took their Nature Explorer lesson to a whole new level by combining it with a science experiment – making popcorn!
We explored where popcorn comes from, discussed the science behind how kernels pop, and investigated what happens when heat transforms hard seeds into fluffy, delicious snacks. Students loved seeing real science in action and connecting it to nature and everyday life.
Hands-on learning at its best! Who knew science could taste so good?

Kicked off an incredible day at the PSSA Soccer GALA, competing with other small schools! Huge thanks to Crystal Creek Public School for hosting and creating such a memorable event. From exciting matches to cheering on teammates, it was a day filled with fun, teamwork, and school spirit. Can’t wait for the next year!

🎶 On Tuesday night, our talented older students had the incredible opportunity to join the Compass Choir alongside students from other schools! It was a truly unforgettable experience, and we couldn't be prouder of their dedication and teamwork on such a big stage.

A massive thank you to Mr Shaw and Mrs McRae for supporting our students and making this opportunity possible. We also want to acknowledge our supportive parents—your involvement means so much to us!

Some Stage 3 students spent the day learning about how to be a great leader. There was dancing, singing and sharing ideas. Students had the opportunity to venture outside comfort zones and connect with students from other schools. Stokers Siding students represented our school with pride and have come away with some great ideas around how to collaborate with others to achieve common goals.

🎉 What an incredible Year 6 to Year 7 Transition Day! Our students had a fantastic time getting to know their new teachers, exploring the high school and making new friends. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Murwillumbah High School and all their staff for their warm welcome, enthusiasm, and ongoing support. Earlier this week, our school was buzzing with excitement as we celebrated Book Fair! 📚✨ Children dressed up as their favourite book characters and took part in a fantastic range of activities.
