🚀 EXCITING OPPORTUNITY 🚀
Take part in the Cyber Security Champions of Tomorrow – Incident Response Exercise, hosted at Macquarie University in collaboration with industry partners. 🔗

This interactive event is designed for both undergraduate and postgraduate students who are interested in cybersecurity. You do not need to be studying cybersecurity or have a technical background to participate — students from different disciplines who are curious about cybersecurity, risk, technology, management, or problem-solving are very welcome. 🫡

Participants will work through a realistic cybersecurity incident scenario, experiencing the people, communication, decision-making and problem-solving dimensions of incident response. Industry experts will also attend, providing an opportunity to learn from practitioners, hear different perspectives, and better understand how organisations respond to cyber incidents in practice.

Beyond developing practical skills and confidence, the event is an excellent opportunity to meet industry professionals, connect with students from different disciplines, and expand your professional network within the cybersecurity community. 🤖

Join a structured networking event with MQBS Industry Partners who will share insights on accelerating your career. You will be placed at a table hosted by a “Boss” (an MQBS industry partner who is an MQ alum or friend of MQ making waves in their industry). Every 15 minutes we rotate the Bosses, so you’ll meet multiple guests in a round-robin format and get focused time to ask questions and hear real-world career tips.
