On Tuesday 19th May, we’re hosting an online webinar bringing together professionals from tertiary education dining across Asia, Australia and the Pacific to explore how institutions can build more sustainable food systems — and how the Food Made Good Standard can support and strengthen that work.
Juliane Caillouette-Noble, CEO of The Sustainable Restaurant Association, will discuss the opportunity universities have to help redefine the food system — and how institutions can turn sustainability ambition into consistent, measurable action across complex catering operations. We’ll also hear from Ray O’Brien, Head of Sustainability at the University of Otago, who will share how the Food Made Good Standard has helped guide sustainability decision-making and support measurable progress across campus operations.
The webinar will conclude with a panel discussion featuring:
🌍 Ray O’Brien, University of Otago.
🍽️ Rhiannon Boyd, CEO of Australasian Campuses Towards Sustainability (ACTS), a member-based charity supporting campuses across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand to lead transformative sustainability action.
🌍 Danielle McCartney, Head of Sustainability at the University of Technology Sydney, where she’s responsible for improving the University’s sustainability performance through the planning, delivery and communication of sustainability initiatives.
Together, they’ll discuss the realities universities are navigating, opportunities for collaboration across the region, and how institutions can use shared frameworks to accelerate sustainable change across foodservice operations.
