The Gadigal Centre is currently offering up to three casual positions for current Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students who are passionate about supporting their peers and contributing to a welcoming, inclusive environment.

About the Roles
Successful applicants will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Gadigal Centre, helping to create a supportive space for students.

Tasks may include:
• Providing general assistance and information
• Supporting events, programs, and activities
• Assisting with admin and front desk duties
• Help foster a welcoming and respectful environment for Mob

Who Should Apply?
We’re looking for students who are:
• Currently enrolled
• Friendly, reliable, and approachable
• Strong communicators who will help others
• Interested in community and support

What’s on Offer
• Flexible casual hours to fit around your studies
• Valuable work experience in student environment

Episode topic: “Racism is the new black” — exploring rising tensions across Australia and how we can move beyond protest toward real, lasting change.

The Sydney Pharmacy School is pioneering the way First Nations students are exposed to degrees in health.

They recently ran a student camp aimed at bringing together high school students to experience what it may be like studying pharmacy at Sydney University.

Camps like these are opening doors for young mob everywhere, and is helping inspire these students.

The Gadigal Centre was full of energy yesterday as we celebrated international women’s day and the deadly women who are important in our lives.

A special thanks to .jacksonnn and .gov.au from who shared their stories with us on our panel.

We acknowledge all the hard working and dedicated women who did ‘give to gain’, from our ancestors to the bubs yet to know their importance.
