Save the date: the next Teaching Artistry: Empowering Learning Through the Arts microcredential cohort now has confirmed Term 4 2026 dates: 6, 13, 20 and 27 October, and 3 and 10 November. Session times and venue are still being finalised, with enrolment details to follow in a future update.

Teaching Artistry is CREATE's professional learning microcredential for educators who want to bring drama and the arts into their everyday teaching practice.

Research news: Dr Thomas De Angelis and Dr Catherine Smyth presented "Embodied Futures: Applied Arts Learning, Creative Pedagogy and the Role of the Arts in Education" at ICLAAC 2026, hosted by Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) in Singaraja, Bali, on 27 August. A teacher artistry workshop followed on 28 August.
