This July, Jane Street is flying a select group of students to Hong Kong for a 3-day deep dive into what it’s like working at one of the most legendary trading firms in the game. We’re talking:

💼 Real insights
👾 Mock trading + coding challenges
🍜 Dumplings, skyscrapers, social events
🏢 Hanging out in our actual office
🧠 Learning from people who do this for real

You’ll pick one of two tracks: 📈 Trading – Game theory, probability, market structure, and more
💻 Software Engineering – OCaml, functional programming, and the systems powering everything behind the scenes

PhD Opportunity | AI Meets Medical Diagnostics
We’re looking for a passionate PhD candidate to revolutionize vestibular testing using AI, computer vision, and real-time imaging — right at the intersection of biomedical engineering, robotics, and neuroscience.

Project Title:
AI-Driven Vestibular Testing with Off-Head vHIT
Where: The University of Sydney x Royal Prince Alfred Hospital
Deadline to apply: April 29, 2025 (Midnight AEST)

What You’ll Do:

Develop an AI-powered, non-contact camera system to improve stroke diagnosis
Work with real-time 3D tracking, sensor fusion & deep learning
Collaborate with leading clinicians & engineers
Deploy innovations into real-world clinical settings
Who We’re Looking For:

Background in biomedical/electrical engineering, robotics, or computer science
Skills in computer vision, ML, sensor fusion
Proficient in Python or C++
Passion for developing life-changing medical tech
