That’s a wrap… for now.
Wow, where do I even start?
Eight years ago, I arrived at Woodburn Creatives with a backpack, a dream, and the hope of building a handbag restoration business here in Sydney.
I started upstairs at a desk, and before long Bagsamoré began to grow into multiple spaces, a wonderful team, and a business I could never have imagined back then.
Then came a global pandemic, a shift into a work-from-home lifestyle, a move to Byron, and a few years spent exploring new business opportunities. But somehow, after moving back to Sydney, I found myself right back where it all began: Woodburn Creatives.
And what a place it has been.
This building has been so much more than a studio. It has been a community bursting at the seams with creative humans - painters, ceramicists, music producers, florists, animators, calligraphers and so many more. Over the years, this creative family has brought me so much joy, support and lifelong friendships.
It is with a heavy heart that we leave this space to make way for student accommodation, and begin the search for a new home in this city.
For now, I’m taking a short break to head back to the UK, spend time with family, and work on the next chapter of Bagsamoré.
I’ll be back soon with more classes, products and restorations. But for now, thank you.
