The Annual General Meeting for Graduate Student Association (GSA) will be held on Friday 11th of November 2022 from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm through Zoom.

6. Vice-President of Professional Development

If you would like to nominate yourself for any of the above roles, you can email [email protected] by mail by 9th November 4 PM, and please state the position you are interested in running for.

Évoluer- a platform created to help post-graduate students evolve and capture newer avenues to gain insights, interact and network with adept and expert professionals to build valuable connections! 💯

It was amazing to have a successful event whilst gaining multiple perspectives from an experienced panel and enthusiastic audience!
Followed by a social hour - it was an excellent opportunity for students to network and interact with the experts personally.

Oh what an evening it was! ✨

Another successful event with an exciting group of professionals as our panelists and an energy-packed audience.

The charisma of our amazing panelists and the diverse audience lit up the environment as the professionals spoke about industry insights of different fields and their expert knowledge with students. They also highlighted the importance of having a work-life balance and tips on how to be successful in your career path.

Our Panelists for Évoluer 2.0 included:

1. 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗲 (Vice President & Managing Director at Okta ANZ)

3. 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗡𝗴 (Senior Director, APAC Marketing at Salesforce)
4. 𝗞𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻 (Security Services Client Executive at IBM)

The session was moderated by the President of GSA, Sneha Hemant Krishnani.

After a fun and engaging discussion with our lovely panelists, we had an exciting social hour where students got an excellent opportunity to connect and interact with amazing industry leaders!

Get to know the Évoluer 2.0 panellists
𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 is the Senior Director, APAC Marketing for Salesforce. She has been associated with Salesforce for the last 8 years where she has worked in various roles over the years.

She is also a Board Member of UNSW Business School Advisory Board. She was a Dean’s List Student in her Bachelor of Commerce & University Medalist in Bachelor of Law at UNSW.

She completed her Master of Laws at New York University, School of Law and is a member of the New York State Bar Association. She has worked in several legal roles as well.

She is the Head of Messaging & Digital Marketing at Salesforce, leading messaging, websites, SEM, SEO, paid and organic social, and digital advertising across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, India, and Greater China.

𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩 is a technology industry leader committed to ensuring technology delivers true business and societal benefit. He is passionate about helping good people become great people and leading teams to realise their full potential.

Before taking on the role of VP and Country Manager ANZ at Okta, Phil spent 12 years at Microsoft in various sales, partner and marketing leadership roles. Most recently, Phil was the Senior Director of Microsoft's Small, Medium and Corporate business where he led the team helping Australians build better businesses on the Microsoft Cloud.

He is now responsible for Okta’s business in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring the company meets the needs of its customers and has a meaningful impact in both countries.

Phil was born in the UK and has lived in Australia and New Zealand for 20 years. Phil is based in Sydney with his wife and three children and is passionate about helping to create stronger communities in Sydney and around Australia.
