On Wednesday 5th August 2026, Madison (current DLC first-year) and Ayva (DLC alumna) attended the Broken Hill Careers Expo, alongside the Macquarie University Outreach team, to encourage prospective rural students to consider Macquarie University and Dunmore Lang College as their next career move post-exams. 🎓💙🏡
“Getting to come back and represent DLC in my hometown was such a heart warming experience. 💙 I felt so proud to be able to share my incredible experience at DLC with some of Broken Hill’s young people who are in the exact same position as I was a few years ago. I saw people’s faces light up when they realised how achievable and accessible living and studying in Sydney can be with the help of DLC! ✨ Showing the students photos of our events, spaces and my lifelong friends from Dunmore Lang College felt like a full circle moment.” 🏡📸
