Last weekend our Certificate III in Agriculture students proudly represented TAFE at the Penrith Show.

Students took part in paraders competitions, sheep and cattle judging, workshops, and young farmers challenge. Their efforts were rewarded with ribbons across the board, including two students winning champion parader in sheep and cattle sections respectively. This was further backed up by the TAFE Richmond team taking out the Young Farmers Challenge.

It was a fantastic effort by all involved and a credit to the hard work and commitment of our students. A big thank you also goes to our technical staff Karen, Richard and Fiona for their organisation on the day and preparation in the lead-up to the show.

We look forward to seeing how the team performs at upcoming show events in 2026!

Check out our winners from the Luddenham Show on the weekend. Our gold and silver laced Wyandottes both won their classes, and our silver Barnevelders came in a very respectable 2nd and 3rd in the "any other variety" classes.
