Thi scheme is an entry pathway for students who haven't completed any tertiary study or who did not receive an ATAR or if it was below 70.

Gain an accredited Certificate IV and an entry to University with a Tertiary Entrance Score (TES) accepted at Universities and by UAC. The TPC is also accepted by Police and Defence force in Australia. Study face to face at Ultimo TAFE in the Sydney CBD either part time or full time. For more information:

This is a university preparation course also called a TPC that gives you a tertiary entrance score and access to university without the HSC. Study academic writing, maths, science, statistics, humanities and English at a local college or online.

Did you know that you can start TPC mid-semester? TPC Ultimo has a few short 8 week subjects available that start soon. These include 'Digital Skills' and 'introduction to ELearning' . These subjects are part of the TPC course. Classes start September/October so enquire now and get started in TPC.

UAC (Univeristy Admission centre) offers excellent advice on Applying for University. They also have an excellent 'pathways' to University page that features information on TAFE and TPC.

Most institutions offer pathway options and entry schemes for applicants who don't meet the standard entry criteria for their courses.
