💬 "...across many measures, bi+ people experience poorer sexual health and wellbeing outcomes compared to the general population."

An Australian-first survey has found that bi+ Australians experience significantly poorer sexual health and safety outcomes than the general population, despite being highly engaged with health care.

Released by the Kirby Institute at UNSW, the survey findings provide the most detailed picture to date of sexual health, relationships, and experiences with sexual health care services among bi+ Australians.

Today, we have announced the expansion of our Parramatta precinct to help improve access to UNSW's world-class education and research. Over 10 years, more than $65 million will be invested in a multi-faculty campus in Parramatta, which will accommodate up to 350 students daily.

The first offering at the expanded Parramatta location will be in 2027, a Juris Doctor postgraduate program delivered by UNSW Law & Justice.

“We are excited our program can now meet many of our students where they are, and to facilitate them gaining practical knowledge through engaging with the energy and strength of the legal profession in Western Sydney."

💬 “When house prices move, they significantly affect units, but not the other way around.”

New research suggests Australia’s housing crisis is not being driven by a shortage of apartments but by system-wide price pressures originating in the market for freestanding homes.

The study challenges a key assumption underpinning current housing policy – that increasing apartment supply alone will substantially improve affordability.

We've returned the once locally extinct burrowing bettong to the NSW desert, releasing a small population of the kangaroo-like marsupial into a vast experimental landscape within Sturt National Park.

Released as part of the Wild Deserts conservation project, which helps native animals learn how to survive alongside predators such as feral cats and foxes, the bettongs have entered a Wild Training Zone with low levels of invasive predators designed to give the species a chance to adapt.
