π¨π± National AusAlert Test β 2:00 PM Today (27 July) π±π¨
At 2:00 PM today, a national test of the AusAlert emergency warning system is being sent to compatible mobile devices across Australia.
π What to expect:

Your mobile phone, smartwatch or tablet may receive a test emergency alert.
π³ Devices are expected to vibrate and play a loud siren-like warning sound for around 10 seconds, even if they are on silent.
π² A message will appear on screen clearly stating that it is a test alert.
βΉοΈ Not all devices may receive the alert, and some may receive it later than others. This is expected as part of the testing process.

No action is required β this is a planned national test only.

π¨π±Critical Mobile Test Alert β TODAY 2pm
π³ Today at 2pm, AusAlert will send a critical test alert to all compatible mobile devices. This will include most phones, smart watches and tablets.
π² Devices will vibrate and play a siren-like warning for 10 seconds.
πΉ What this means:
β οΈ This will likely cause disruption to any delivery occurring at this time.
π This may cause distress for some individuals, please communicate to your students to expect this today, and it is just a test.
π¬ βThis is a test of an Australian National Government service and does not indicate there is a real incident or emergency. TAFE NSW does not require you to take any action in relation to this test.β
