๐ฌ๐ท 85 Years Since the Kerdyllia Massacre | 17 October 1941
Today, we remember one of the darkest chapters in Greek history.
On 17 October 1941, N**i German occupation forces carried out the Kerdyllia massacre in northern Greece, executing approximately 230 men and boys and destroying the villages of Ano Kerdyllia and Kato Kerdyllia.
85 years later, we honour the innocent lives lost, the families and communities forever changed, and the resilience of the Greek people.
As a Greek university association, we believe in preserving our history, honouring those who came before us, and ensuring their stories are never forgotten.
We remember. We honour. We never forget. ๐๏ธ๐ฌ๐ท
