Join the Faculty of Science, University of Sydney for this free special gig hosted by Associate Professor Alice Motion and featuring a selection of local artists involved in Live from the Lab 2020 & 2021 including Gemma Navarrete, Luke Davis, Baby Beef, Megafauna, and Romæo!

Live from the Lab (LFTL) is a celebration of Australian music, science, arts and culture. Over the last two years we’ve united Australian musicians with scientists from the University of Sydney through a guided conversation series and commissioned the artists to compose new tracks in response to ground-breaking Australian science. During National Science Week (2020 & 2021) these tracks were revealed on FBi Radio.

This will be the first time these science research inspired tracks are performed live, along with additional hits from each artist’s catalogue. What an amazing way to immerse yourself in campus life with music, science, arts and culture!

One of these tools is the practice of meditation and mindfulness. Join the twice-weekly drop-in mindfulness and meditation online sessions run by the University.
You'll have the opportunity to learn and practice some techniques together with a facilitator and other like-minded students.
