🧭 2026 Adult Learners Week – Open Day πŸŽ‰πŸ’œ

What an incredible day we had at our Open Day 2026! πŸ₯³
Held as part of Adult Learners Week 2026, our β€œFollow Your Compass” Open Day brought together an amazing group of local organisations, services, learners and community members and we are so grateful to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a huge success! 🧭✨

πŸ’œ A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO OUR STALLHOLDERS & SERVICES! 🀝
We are incredibly grateful to all the local organisations and services who joined us on the day. Your time, knowledge, conversations and support made such a wonderful impact and helped our community discover the different pathways, services and opportunities available to them.
Thank you for being part of our day and for the work you do in our community! πŸ’œ

πŸ› οΈ PROJECT MAKERS β€” WHAT AN ACHIEVEMENT!
A very special shout-out to our Project Makers learners, who showcased their incredible handmade creations and auctioned off their work in support of Liberty Foodcare.
Over the past month, our learners have been planning, measuring, building and creating while developing valuable life, literacy, numeracy and workplace skills along the way. From a community library, a bench, a firewood storage box, to two bird boxes and a magazine holder, our learners put so much time, effort and care into creating these amazing pieces and it was fantastic to see their hard work celebrated by the community! πŸ‘
We are so proud of what they achieved and the total fund raised for Liberty Foodcare! πŸ’œ

🎨 OUR COMMUNITY PAINTING!
We also brought our community together to create something pretty special our community painting! – β€œFollow your Compass 2026β€πŸ–οΈπŸŽ¨
With fingerprints from people who joined us throughout the day, this artwork is now a wonderful reminder of the connections, conversations and community spirit that made our Open Day so memorable. And we think it looks AWESOME! πŸ’œ

We also want to give a special shout-out to our amazing TAE students who went above and beyond to help make the day happen! From helping with set-up, cooking up our BBQ, welcoming visitors and assisting at our group stations, you were an important part of the day.

Thank you for sharing your time, energy and knowledge with our community and helping people learn more about what we do here at Tamworth Community College. We really appreciate everything you contributed! πŸ‘πŸ’œ

πŸ” BBQ, CONNECTIONS & COMMUNITY!
