⚠️ COVID-19 update for Gold Coast ⚠️

From 8am tomorrow, restrictions on gatherings and aged care will extend to the Gold Coast, after two Pimpama residents tested positive to COVID-19.

📌 Gatherings in people’s homes and outdoors are limited to 10 people for residents in Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan City, Scenic Rim, Somerset, Lockyer Valley, Moreton Bay, and Redlands council areas.

📌 Everywhere else, gatherings in people’s homes and outdoors are limited to 30 people.

📌 Visits to aged care and disability accommodation services are limited on the Gold Coast and in Greater Brisbane, Ipswich and surrounds.

📌 Venues and events that follow COVID Safe Industry Plans can continue operating, including cafés, restaurants, clubs, pubs, weddings and funerals.

Please stay safe:

📏 Maintain social distancing

🏡 Stay at home if unwell

Reminder: This Friday (14th of August) is the Ekka 2020 Public Holiday across Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast.

The Ekka, also called the Royal Queensland Show, is a celebration of Queensland's amazing agriculture. The usual 10 day event is online this year due to COVID-19.

Visa Changes to Support International Students!

Starting midnight tonight, if your Student VISA and studies have been affected due to COVID-19, your student VISA will be able to be updated free of charge if you meet eligibility requirements.

You will also need to supply a completed "1545 COVID-19 Impacted Student" form signed by us, your education provider, when submitting your application.
