Interested in volunteering with the 2026 Warrnambool Multicultural Festival? Come and meet the team! 💛

We’re bringing together people who have expressed interest in volunteering, and our festival committee members for a casual catch-up.

It’s a chance to:
- Meet other volunteers and committee members
- Get to know each other and have a chat
- Find out more about how we’ll communicate and keep everyone updated
- Hear about our newly completed 2026–2029 Festival Strategy and what it means for the festival in the years ahead

🕜 1:30–2:30pm - doors open from 1pm, and feel free to stay afterwards for more chats

👁️ Think optometry is just about glasses and eye tests? Think again!

Our future optometry students recently stepped into A Day in the Life of an Optometry Student at Deakin, getting hands-on with practical activities alongside our passionate third-year students.

From removing foreign bodies from simulated eyes to asking questions about university life, the experience gave our regional and rural students a closer look at what a career in optometry can really involve. 🔬👓
