October is AAC Awareness Month! 💙

Everyone deserves a way to communicate! Whether through speech, gestures, signs, pictures or communication devices, every person has something to say.

AAC gives children more ways to express themselves, connect with others and have their voices heard. It doesn’t replace speech — it supports communication in all its forms.

Let’s celebrate communication in every way and help every child feel heard!

We love heading out to Condobolin to work with the kiddos out there, so we thought we would give little snapshot of some of the things Rhiannon, Angela, and Amy get up to in a week out in Condo!

Throughout the week we spend time working with Condobolin Public School, two of the fabulous Condo preschools, Tullibigeal Central School, and the mobile preschool out there. We work individually with some kiddos, put on a variety of groups, and work with educators to implement strategies to assist kids.

We always feel so welcomed by the Condobolin community and so lucky they give us the opportunity to work with them.

Next week CKSC heads back out to Condo so keep an eye out for some updates.
