Through the FutureMinds Lab Industry Innovation Days, young innovators from BiH worked on challenges inspired by the needs of the health, tourism, wood and metal industries.
Across three parallel hackathons, young teams, including inspiring young women innovators, brought creativity, confidence and new ways of thinking to the table. With support from industry mentors, they explored real sector needs, shaped their ideas and presented solutions with the potential to create value beyond the hackathon setting.
Their concepts connected digital tools with tourism and cultural heritage, workplace ergonomics with healthier and more sustainable work environments, and healthcare management with smarter use of capacities.
Watch the FutureMinds Lab Industry Innovation Days story to se what can happen when education, industry, public institutions and innovation support actors come together around young talent: new skills are built, partnerships are created, and ideas gain the support they need to move forward.
Meet the young innovators behind three ideas that opened the door to the next stage of their innovation journey.
FutureMinds Lab project is implemented within the Private Sector Development Initiative (EU4PSD) in BiH, co-funded by the European Union and the Government of Germany (BMZ). The activities build on previous results and the University’s participation in the Digital Innovation Hub its4health.
Together, we shape a competitive economy in BiH.
