ther it's the fact that they hold both SSST and Buckingham University diplomas, gain degrees comprising of two fields of study, speak at least two languages, or impress with internships and awards gained during their study – our students make such strong competitors that SSST claims the highest rate of employed graduates out of all BiH universities. Our students regularly and successfully compete for national and international awards, scholarships and conference spots. Over 90% of all SSST graduates are employed within the first six months of graduation, and in their own fields. We have seen and supported them in starting small companies from the classroom, publishing papers with professors, participating in research projects, and even entering the Cannes Film Festival's student film selection twice. On 11 June 2026, Prof. Azra Bećirović, Dean of the Faculty of Economics at SSST, participated as a panel speaker at the official launch of the EIT Community Hub Bosnia and Herzegovina. 🇧🇦🇪🇺

As part of the panel "From Startup Potential to Scale-up Success – How Bosnia and Herzegovina's Startups Can Grow with EIT," she joined discussions on strengthening innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration between academia and industry.

💊 Becoming a pharmacist takes much more than learning from textbooks.

At SSST, students begin gaining practical experience early through hands-on work in our university laboratories, where they develop the skills and confidence needed for their future profession. 🧪

From their third year, they continue that journey in Al Hana pharmacies and laboratories, working alongside experienced professionals and experiencing the realities of pharmaceutical practice firsthand. 🏥

As part of our World Oral Health Day celebration, students and staff came together for an engaging quiz filled with fun, laughter, and valuable knowledge. After a memorable competition, it was finally time for the winning team to receive their well-deserved prize.�

Under the supervision of Professor Enita Nakaš and with the support of our teaching assistants, sixth-year dentistry students carried out professional teeth whitening treatments for the quiz winners, giving them even brighter reasons to smile.�

We are especially proud that this initiative came full circle through the dedication and expertise of our final-year students, who transformed a day of learning and friendly competition into a rewarding clinical experience.�

From educational challenges and shared laughter to confident, brighter smiles, the spirit of World Oral Health Day continues to shine long after the quiz is over. ✨🦷

Through the FutureMinds Lab Industry Innovation Days, young innovators from BiH worked on challenges inspired by the needs of the health, tourism, wood and metal industries.

Across three parallel hackathons, young teams, including inspiring young women innovators, brought creativity, confidence and new ways of thinking to the table. With support from industry mentors, they explored real sector needs, shaped their ideas and presented solutions with the potential to create value beyond the hackathon setting.

Their concepts connected digital tools with tourism and cultural heritage, workplace ergonomics with healthier and more sustainable work environments, and healthcare management with smarter use of capacities.
