Inter-Department Football Tournament 2026 | Textile Department, Primeasia University ⚽🏆

The Inter-Department Football Tournament 2026, organized by the Department of Textile Engineering, Primeasia University, concluded with an exciting and memorable Prize Giving Ceremony.

Congratulations to Batch 232 of the Textile Department for becoming the Champions, while Batch 251 secured the Runners-up position🎉🎉

The Prize Giving Ceremony was graced by the presence of the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Treasurer, Registrar, Chief Adviser of the Textile Department, Chairperson and respected faculty members. The distinguished guests presented the Championship Trophy to Batch 232 and the Runners-up Trophy and medals to Batch 251🏆🥈

The tournament concluded with an inspiring closing speech by the Honourable Vice Chancellor, marking the successful completion of this exciting sporting event.

We're incredibly proud to feature alumna Mina Akter, whose path from Primeasia University's Department of Pharmacy has led her to prestigious research roles at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Mina's journey began with a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences at Primeasia, where her undergraduate thesis on insecticide effects ignited a passion for biomedical research. This academic curiosity propelled her to pursue a Master's degree in the USA, followed by significant contributions in radiation oncology at Johns Hopkins University.

Currently, as a Research Technician at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, Mina focuses on groundbreaking radiopharmaceutical therapy and targeted radiation approaches for cancer treatment.

Reflecting on her journey, Mina shares, "What matters is continuing to build your skills, reaching out to mentors, gaining research experience, being open to new fields, and not allowing one rejection or setback to define what you are capable of."

When classroom vision meets real-world ex*****on, magic happens! The Primeasia University MBA Program and MBA Club hosted Excursion Tour 2026 at the Shayan Resort in Manikganj—an extraordinary day where executive strategy, competitive sports, and lifelong networking converged.

Beyond relaxation, this tour served as a powerful testament to the holistic development, drive, and vibrant campus life nurtured at Primeasia University.

✨ Event Highlights:

💡 Student Business Pitching: MBA cohorts took center stage, pitching original business ideas and strategic models that demonstrated sharp market insight and entrepreneurial grit.

🤝 Interactive Executive & Entrepreneurial Panel: Learning extended well beyond the classroom. Students participated in a healthy, dynamic discussion with visiting entrepreneurs and Mr. Saif MD. Saifur Rahman (MD, Shayan Resort). The leaders shared practical guidelines on building resilient ventures, buyer/client engagement, and market growth.

🏏 The Primeasia Cricket Clash: Energy reached an all-time high on the field! Students and faculty battled it out in a competitive, high-spirited cricket match that put tactical thinking, team coordination, and leadership to the test.
