📌 Throwback to September 2025!
The Summer School Colloquium 2025 (September 10–11) was truly an inspiring experience for our students and faculty 🌿✨

Day 1 was filled with creativity as students presented their research projects and posters, followed by an insightful keynote session with Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak, Professor, Department of EEE and Director, IQAC, Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) 🎤📚

Day 2 wrapped up with a prize-giving ceremony celebrating the Top 3 Posters and Top 2 Projects 🏆🎉

We are delighted to share that our seminar titled “Digital Twin: An Emerging Research Topic for EV Industries” was successfully held on 27th November 2025 at USTC, D Block.

The session was conducted by Dr. Sajib Chakraborty, Research Professor and Team Lead at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (MOBI-EPOWERS Research Group). His insightful discussion on the growing importance of Digital Twin technology in Electric Vehicle (EV) industries opened up new perspectives for students and faculty members alike.

The event was organized by the
Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC).

A huge thanks to everyone who joined, participated, and made the session engaging and impactful.

Green Energy, Green Water.

Dubai has launched the world’s largest solar-powered desalination plant in Hatta — turning seawater into drinking water for over 2 million people daily using only sunlight. Powered entirely by solar energy, it produces zero emissions and no fossil fuels are used. This groundbreaking project proves that clean energy and clean water can thrive together, offering a sustainable solution for the world’s growing water crisis.

Industrial Tour 2025 Power Plant Cox’s Bazar

We are excited to announce that students and faculty members from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) will be visiting the Cox’s Bazar 60 MW Wind Power Plant, operated by US–DK Green Energy (BD) Limited, from 15th to 17th October 2025.

This visit to the country’s first large-scale wind power facility at Khurushkul, Cox’s Bazar will offer our students a hands-on learning experience on renewable energy generation, sustainable power systems, and the future of green technology in Bangladesh.
