Congratulations to Team OmniGrid Tech — Borhan Uddin, Ayman Ullah & Sajib Dev Nath — for securing a place among the Top 13 Teams at the ITBI Student Startup Pitch Fest 2026, organized by ITBI, CUET.

Startup Idea: "OmniGrid – Modular Solar-Powered Portable Energy Hub": OmniGrid is a smart, modular, repairable, and solar-powered portable energy system designed to provide reliable and scalable backup power for students, homes, remote workers, travelers, and small businesses. The concept focuses on expandable battery modules, solar charging, multiple power outputs, and real-time monitoring.

With the guidance of Mentor Yeasin Arafat Sir, the team’s innovation, creativity, and dedication have earned this well-deserved recognition.

EEE students Testimony

I am pleased to share my experience as a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Southern University Bangladesh. My academic journey at Southern University provided me with a strong foundation in engineering principles, practical problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of modern electrical systems.

The curriculum was well-structured and aligned with international engineering standards, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on laboratory work and real-world applications. The faculty members were supportive, knowledgeable, and committed to helping students develop both technical competence and professional confidence.

A significant milestone in my career was obtaining a positive skills assessment from Engineers Australia based on my bachelor’s degree from Southern University Bangladesh. This recognition reflects the quality and standard of education provided by the university, as it meets the criteria required for professional engineering qualifications in Australia.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Wollongong, Australia. The strong academic foundation I gained during my undergraduate studies has been instrumental in helping me adapt to advanced coursework and research at an international level.

I highly recommend Southern University Bangladesh to prospective students seeking a comprehensive and internationally recognized engineering education. The program not only prepares students for professional success but also opens doors to global opportunities.
