We are delighted to share that an ETE Graduate (ETE'19) from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology - CUET , Tanzeem Tahmeed Reza, has secured a Fully Funded PhD position at The University of Texas at Austin (Global #58, National #4), USA πΊπΈ for Fall 2026. He will pursue his doctoral studies in Communication Sciences, supported by both a Teaching Assistantship (TA) and a Research Assistantship (RA). In addition, he has also been awarded the prestigious Graduate School Academic Enrichment Award and the Moody Doctoral Fellowship from the program.
Prior to this achievement, Reza worked as a Research Engineer (Machine Learning) at the Institute of Research, Innovation, Incubation & Commercialization (IRIIC), United International University. He is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), where he has been contributing to teaching and research activities for the past 10 months.
Throughout his academic journey, Reza has demonstrated strong research potential and interdisciplinary expertise in machine learning, biomedical signal processing, and advanced computational research. His academic and research contributions include:
