Where literature met performance.
Where words transformed into emotion.
Where effort turned into excellence.

On 18 May 2026, the Department of English, 40th Batch, proudly staged Hamlet, embracing the depth and complexity of William Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy with sincerity, passion, and dedication. Through their remarkable performance, the students transformed classical literature into a living and deeply moving experience.

Supervised by Afifa Rahman, the production stood as a testament to the students’ creativity, collaboration, and commitment to classical theatre.

The event was graced by the presence of the Dean, the Chair of the Department, the Director of IQAC, respected faculty members, and students of the department, whose encouragement and support made the occasion even more meaningful.

This production was not merely a play, but a celebration of literature, performance, and the enduring relevance of Shakespeare across generations and cultures.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this memorable event.
