The 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘀 (𝗕𝗼𝗧) 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗕𝗚𝗠𝗘𝗔 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 (𝗖𝗕𝗨𝗙𝗧) was held today at 5:00 PM at the Board Room of CBUFT.
The meeting was graced by the presence of Mr. Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Honorable Founder Chairman, BoT; Mr. Mohammed Abdus Salam, Honorable Founder Vice Chairman, BoT; Mr. S. M. Abu Tayyab, Honorable Founder Member, BoT; Mr. A. M. Chowdhury Selim, Founder Member, BoT; Mr. Mohammed Ferhat Abbas, Honorable Founder Member, BoT; Mr. Mohammed Ferdous, Honorable Founder Member, BoT; Mr. Syed Mohammed Tanvir, Founder Member, BoT; Prof. Dr. Md. Obaidul Karim, Honorable Vice Chancellor, CBUFT; and Prof. Pradip Chakraborty, Honorable Treasurer, CBUFT.
The Registrar (In-Charge), Controller of Examinations (Acting), and Director in Charge (F&A) of CBUFT were also present at the meeting.

During the meeting, several important matters were discussed with a focus on the 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗕𝗨𝗙𝗧. The active participation and valuable contributions of the esteemed members made the meeting highly productive and meaningful.

💉 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗕𝗨𝗙𝗧

Chattogram BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (CBUFT), in collaboration with 𝗛𝗘𝗣𝗔, successfully organized a 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 on Wednesday, 16 September 2026, at the CBUFT Hall Room, Level-10.
The program focused on enhancing students’ awareness and knowledge regarding the importance of vaccination, vaccine-preventable diseases, and preventive healthcare. The session provided students with valuable insights into the role of vaccination in protecting individual and community health.

CBUFT is committed to promoting health awareness and encouraging responsible, informed practices among its students.

📊 5th Finance Committee Meeting Held at CBUFT

The 5th Finance Committee Meeting of Chattogram BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (CBUFT) was held yesterday at the CBUFT Conference Room in a constructive and cordial atmosphere.

The meeting was chaired by Mohammed Abdus Salam, Founder Member, Board of Trustees, CBUFT.

The meeting was graced by the presence of the esteemed finance committee members, including Md. Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Founder Chairman, Board of Trustees; A.M. Chowdhury Selim, Founder Member, Board of Trustees; Mohammed Ferdous, Founder Member, Board of Trustees; Professor Dr. Mohammed Obaidul Karim, Vice-Chancellor; and Professor Pradip Chakraborty, Treasurer, CBUFT.

The Director in Charge (F&A), Registrar (In-Charge), Controller of Examinations (Acting), and Head of the Department of Fashion Design (FD) were also present at the meeting.

The meeting focused on key financial matters and institutional priorities, reflecting CBUFT’s continued commitment to sound financial management, transparency, accountability, and sustainable academic development.

🧵🏭 Bridging Classroom Learning with Real-World Experience! 👕✨

Students of Batch 231, Department of Textile & Clothing Technology, Chattogram BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (CBUFT), had the valuable opportunity to visit Meek Sweater & Fashion Ltd., Gazipur, Dhaka, as part of their Fully Fashion Knitwear Industry Visit.

Under the supervision of Adjunct Faculty Member Md. Yasin Shams, our students explored real-world industrial practices, production processes, and the working environment of the knitwear industry—turning academic knowledge into practical experience. 🎓➡️🏭

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Anupum Dey Raju for his valuable time, insightful guidance, and kind support throughout the visit.
